Adsense displaying poor paying ads

    Hi,

Adsense is serving ads that pay about 0.01 to 0.03 per click. My domain name contains a low paying keyword. How could I get past google trying to use my domain name as context to serve up ads? Other methods to help target ads would be great too.

    Thanks,

    Zaui

    Hi Zaui,

You can start by blocking out the ads that currently appear on your site through the Competitive Ad Filter. If that doesn't work you could probably give Ads Black List a go.

use that competive filter, don't click your ad's but type in the url and see what kind of sites are advertising then you can filter out the bad ones

So my domain name even though it contains a low paying keyword doesnt really hurt me as much as long as I use the competitive ad filter + good keywords on my pages?

    Zaui

I think adsense has been paying less on all ads.. Don't know what's happening.. I had 118 clicks for 3 dollars once...

I would suggest blocking out all the very low paying keyword sites. There is a site that lists all the really low paying sites to block, but I can't seem to remember the name of it now
