I'm reposting this from another forum.. We run bored.com, just bought it from previous owners. The site pricetag is in the millions. So the ad management being from 1996 is pretty crazy. We are working on a CMS and doubleclick but in the meantime we are newbies. We come from the TYPEIN industry so arent too familiar with adsense visual ads, CPMS, etc. We always dealt with pure uniques being domainers, we've never been 'publishers' before this. Anyways, now we're publishers. There is no CLASS on adsense, (well maybe there is..) so I will begin by learning from others I suppose. We are COMPLETELY revamping the site but for now we have to stick with the old owners LAYOUT and content, we changed the page as much as we could if you check our archive.org Anyways, in the ROMANCE section, more than half the time, (or any page for that matter) google will display THREE ads at the same time You can see here or go to the actual site. We are also using CASALE and just setup tribal fushion, I guess we could simply ratify the situation by using all three advertisers seperately on each page. Also google isnt targetting the content very well, and our eCPM is horrible for most pages.
