So today I went to my site to show someone something when I noticed I wasn't displaying any adsense. I haven't been clickbombed or anything it just disappeared. Any idea why?

    The site is...

Probably you have no ads to display...
Did you choose Fill with solid color in the adsense account when doing this ad block?

Same ads I've always had they just up and disappeared. I was doing pretty well with those ad positions too.

Try placing them in a different area. Maybe the coding on your website is screwing around with your adsense coding.

Weird, they are still in your page source and when you refresh your page it looks like they load or the page is connecting to google. Check site diagnostics on your adsense panel to see whats up.

    So I tried...

    1. Added new code
    2. Turned off wordpress plugins
    3. Removed Kontera

I am thinking it might have something to do with the translation tool or a robot.txt file.

Here is the info from my Google Site Diagnostics

Ok since no one else knows whats going on whats the official place to ask their support what the hell is going on. I am going to leave one of their ads up and are going to be replacing Adsense until this can get resolved. It so pisses me off that I get no email and no explanation just gaping white holes where their ads used to be.

They are all about us tightly integrating their damn ads into our sites but we suffer when their ad system breaks or some obscure rule gets us banned or blocked or whatever. Its just sooo irritating.

In absence of Google running properly in the next few days what is the next best thing in revenue?

In case it helps anyone else, its not the translation plugin causing the issue. My plugin meets the requirements for other languages...and I sent an email to..

    https://google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py?

Meanwhile Chitika resides in my top earning spot.

OK I found out why my ads were "disabled"

It was because of this article...
Do you still look at ads? Think about the last ad or banner that you can remember, did it make an impression? Chances are you might be hard pressed to remember even one. The problem is that our minds have been programmed to think that there is nothing worthwhile in Adsense or banner ads and if you regularly visit a site I promise you that you will go ad blind. Great you say I really don’t want to look at ads, you’re there for the content right?

The problem is if no one looks at the ads and ads are not sold then publishers are less likely to release free content because they do not do so from the kindness of their heart and don’t want to pay for infrastructure costs (such as hosting, design, promotion). This means that the content you read every day starts becoming either paid content or nonexistent.

Also if there were no ads you would be less likely to learn about products and services that you might want or need. Sometimes ads may not be wanted or needed by the reader at the time but 6 months down the line a need arises and that product needs an immediate purchase decision, without the ad you have less known options for your purchase. You end up settling when you could of made the decision with more information such as information you would have gained from that banner.

If there were no banners or ads you would not be alerted to sales and specials that could save you money. Today I noted that the EyeClops was on sale for cheaper than I planned to purchase it for my kids, I learned this from my own TTZMedia ads.

So maybe its time to rethink the Adsense and Banners and start paying attention. Start thinking about Google Adsense and Banners as a TIP JAR for the sites that you view. If someone you knew gave you some great information you might consider giving them some money or commenting on their tip, so why shouldn’t that carry into internet browsing. For instance today I found a site that saved me $200 on an item I was purchasing for my kids for Christmas. I felt overwhelmed with thankfulness so I added a couple clicks to his or her Adsense and made a comment on his blog. You know what happened? I paid him for his time without paying a dime and made for content for the Search engines to grab. I also learned that I could save a few bucks on my insurance, Hey you never know.

    This is what Adsense said:

Ad serving was disabled to your site as a follow-up to an email that was
sent to you on February 15, 2008 notifying you that your site was in
    violation of AdSense program policies.

I apologize if you did not receive this email, and I've included a copy
below for your reference. Please feel free to reply to this email if you
    have additional questions or concerns.

    Sincerely,

I must have missed the email. Deleting the article now, its unfortunate though I thought it was a good article.

Will removing the article remove the ban? Did the article improve your CTR?
