adsense delay

When you upload a new page to your website, does your adsense first show up as non-profit ads?

I say this because as I am uploading article pages to my website about the first half have no non-profit ads, but then again sometimes the very first one has non-profit ads. I am really confused, but generally the second half of them has non-profit ads (ones I uploaded the past day, rather than a few days ago). does it take a while before adsense becomes "ingraved" or something?

You can check it out, go to http://www.lucidly.com. Then under the articles section click on any of the first 6 for example. Then click on interpretation, and click on the top wikipedia article. Then click on nagualism, and click on that top wikipedia article.

Do you see how those are non-profit and the others aren't? This has been continuously happening with my site? Is this just something where after a day or two it will stop happening and the adsense will stay the same?

It is strange though, because my site configuration is to have the top left and right an .ssi script, and I haven't really changed that for a week or two.

yes, adsense first needs some time to crawl the page. After a short time, you will get more relevant ads.

Yes there is a delay until the AdSense bot crawls your content. On my sites I get ads that a related to the general theme of my site, but not the actual article content.

Real ads should start displaying within a couple of hours to a day depending on the amount of traffic your site gets and when the AdSense bot visits.

If in a month or so you still have no ads or only free ads on the lower ad-units, consider just deleting them: the amount of relevant ads that pay a decent CTR may be limited for your niche.

Not necessairily. In fact, when adsense has been on a site for some time, it is more likely that adsense will show ads , but these can be irrelevant until the bot has done its job.

My relevant ads are usually shown within an hour of displaying them.
