Adsense Data Code

Hey guys. Just a quick question...

I am interested in tracking the adsense clicks on my website. I understand i need to add the adsense data code to the header of my first page. Do i need to add this code to the header of everypage on my website or just a single page? I am interested in every page being tracked.

well if your site is using PHP then there should be a header.php file, all you do is place the code ones and it should track all pages since every page calls header.php. If its HTML then you need to do it for every html

 

Ah okay thank you mobius. I am using html so will add the data code to every page.

 

Any idea how long the code takes to register? Should it be instant from the time i insert the code? I added the code (taken from the analytics) and inserted into the page header as google say to. But nothing seems to register on my analytics page. I have had clicks today but nothing seems to be happening

 

If you are using Wordpress then search for plugin, if there's not any plugin there place the code on header.php folder.

 

I am using basic html. This is my site if it helps at all? (in the process of completing site) You can view source to see that i have the code in the correct page.

 

maybe there's no traffic? the analytics should tell you if the code is installed properly or not

learn to read before posting retarded crap, if you actually read the posts, you would know its not a wordpress site. And by the way header.php is a file not a friggin folder

Well i have had about 9 hits today and adsense says that i have received a click. Maybe i will just be patient with it and leave it a few days. I was just unsure it analytics stats were instant.

use google analytics and link it with your adsense account, search on adsense help to know how to do that.

 

So after a week (or two) I am still getting no data on Adsense Analytics. I have inserted the correct code in the correct place and the two accounts are linked but stats just set at zero :S

Statcounter.com. have you try it? They have a list of exit link activity. But I think there are not tracker that 100% accurate. Because Google has own validator and converter to check the click valid and counted.

 

I dont think if any of Analytical program is 100% accurate.
