adsense CTR dropped Why?

check out the before and after pics of the changes i made in my page for adsense. I read articles which suggested that i should have a skysraper on the left then on the right and then a link bar on the top which would result in an improved CTR.. but this did not happen.

On my before page i used to get a CTR of 7% a day.. which most of the clicks on the image banner on the top.. my CTR is 0% on the new page.

Any suggestions. how can i improve my CTR. the reason why i made the changes was because the top image banner clicks with nothing more than 5cents and the occasional clicks on the text links on the banner on the right would be 50 cents.

 

i have again changed the page.. but the response is the same.. 0 clicks..

 

try 250X250 before your content starts -also try the same at the end of content

 

I got read of my link bar from all my pages the ctr drop a fair bit but now my ecpm is still strong

 

i am curently trying out a skyscraper on the left sidebar and an 300*250 on atricle start.. but it did not make any difference..

 

Try wrapping you content with this code. And place this at the start of your article. May be this will help.

I can't see the code either. You should type it again.

My advice is to get rid of the left ad's border. You can do this by turning the border into the same colour as your page background. That is turn it white.

 

That kind of gibberish happens when you use adsense deluxe plugin (No idea why too)

i think %7 ctr is good, why did you change it?

it's better to change to the old blendgin for you

 

7% is good but i think on a single page site. it should be about 15% or so.. the reason of change was to see if i can get over 7%.. always keep improving and experimenting
