Has anyone noticed a major drop in thier cpm in the last 2 days yesterda and today? My cpm dropped by 60% for yesterday and today do advertisers kind of stop thier campaigns this time of the year?
Same problem , I am reading all articles and news about smart pricing stuff... This was my thread and stats : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=207178
If you find some good answers, tweaks let us know in this thread please ! My top making $ site is now in 3 place in my stats
Read the following thread I created, I think I have managed to counteract smartpricing - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=209681
anyone knows how long smartpricing could stay with your site(s)? do we have to do something for it to go away? or just let it sit?
Well, the solution for this problem is, just try to get more traffic. Your adsense cpm will increase automatically....
not really..traffic doesn't determine your CPM. If that bloddy ad doesnt pay much. you cant abuse it to pay more.
yes huge drop here too ... but guess I am not yet smartpriced since some clicks are over 1$ and others are 0.01 ! .... overall drop for some 30-40% last two days ......
It seems that there isnt much money in the system yet. It might be that the new ad budgets are being formulated for this year and money will start pouring in after about 15 jan? or else we r all royally ripped off
For what it's worth: Major drop here as well! Yet some chanel are stable so I guess it's mostly to blame on adwords... adsense is nothing when adwords isn't doing well. Does anybody know how succesful adwords is at the moment?
something is wrong, i got 10 times less that before, everyday now i don't the reason, in last time google delete images around ads but after that $ goes down but not so down as now i think we must wait but this situation is not so good at all i got the same $ from i think 6 months and now this happened
It's not all smart pricing, some advertisers did not set up their advertising budget for the new year. Aside from January usually being a weak month after December's shopping frenzy.
