Is there any relationship between the Adsense CPM and the bounce rate on a website.

Do lower bounce rates increase CPM?

yes a high bounce rate means visitors are leaving your site almost immediately you want them to browse the site then leave via targeted adsense ads

True, a high bounce rate reduces adsense revenue because people don't click the ads, but does it affect the CPM that you get paid.

Do sites with lower bounce rates get a higher CPM?

I'm wondering this also. I need to read up on it a bit more and optimize.

Bounce rate probably affects your natural search traffic, which may impact AdSense tangentially.

    Not really
Lower bounce rate mean that more visitor are visiting more than one page, mean that your impression is more. In this case, you earn more but it doesnt actually increase the CPM

Absolutely no relation because CPM means Cost Per Thousand Impressions. So whenever a page is opened may it be even for a moment it will count as a valid impression. :)

Lower bounce rate means more page views which means lower CPM BUT......

Does Google recognize that you have a quality site with loyal readership and pays more per click. I'm thinking premium sites must have a higher payout rate and if content is the same could it be there bounce rate is lower.

To answer this question, why not provide stats of bounce rate and ecpm? I will be the first then. Bounce rate 73%. Average ecpm is $15 so far this month.

If you have less bounce rate then it means your visitors are staying more time in your site and it increases your chances of getting clicks.
