Adsense CPC down?

Seems to be across all of my sites...I am getting paid less per click than normal today.

Could be the new month (although advertisers usually have new money) or it could be that they are waiting till closer to Christmas...

    Same for you?

Anybody think this has to do with the time of year? Last month of the quarter of the last quarter of the year...

Although you will always seem some people on boards say my CPC or $ is down, and some other people saying mine is up...

I have been reading this same issue across several forums. It is really strange and makes you wonder what is going on. No notices of any changes have come from Google so makes you believe advertisers are spending less right now because of the economy. This of course hurts us all. Mine has been going all over the board.

My CPC dropped a whack,I have a contact for adsense who confirmed that my account is not suffering from smart pricing in any way, seems to be just the advertisers.

Economoy is doing fairly well right now with lower oil prices. New employment numbers today was 215,000 jobs created vs. an expected 220,000. So the economy is not doing too bad.

I personally noticed a sharp decline around mid November. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but I'm going to focus on building my sites, with quality content and not worry too much about Google...

Anybody thinks Google may be lowering their % payout to webmasters? I mean with the stock on fire, if they think they might miss their next earnings expectations, the easiest thing to do is lower the % payout to webmasters which makes up about 43% of their advertising revenues (according to last quarters report).
