CPC are decreasing day to day and it wont be far when we would be just getting 0.015$ for a click according to google adsense share with publishers seeing that the lese it asks advertisers for 1 PPC is 0.05$ ....evaluating that to 30%-70% ratio; where us getting just 30%
Dollar value is increasing comparing to other currencies, so if your advertisers are not in the US, it's likely that the CPC will decrease. Like my CPC decreased a lot but at the same time, the dollar rate is 30-40% higher.
you don't have cpc, you have epc, which is earnings per click. my epc is actually higher than it was in october of 2005, but the page ctr is down by nearly half.
Imagine this scenario few months ago: 1 US$ = 2 X$ (X$ is another hypothetic currency) advertiser spends 100 X$ to buy 100 clicks -> each click = 1 X$ or 0.5 US$ scenario now 1 US$ = 2.5 X$ (US$ dollar exchange rate higher) advertiser still spends 100 X$ to buy 100 clicks -> each click = 1 X$ or 0.4 US$ CPC decreased from 0.5 US$ to 0.4 US$
mine EPC has gone down the past week or so also. my CTR is about the same but the amount i receive per click has gone down quite a bit.
Yea Mine also although my blog is new I had only recieved 3 click my hold blog age and the click from last few weeks get 2.50 USD per click now I only got 16 cents , whats up with that? Major drop.
new sites usually see a drop in epc... you might need weeks of data to see where your epc is really at.
If only you knew whats coming next I suggest you worry about making money selling stuff as i dont think many low paid publishers will be around much longer. laterz malcolm
Yeah CPC is decreasing but I am still getting some good paying clicks..Niche have effect on CPC as well...but in my over all earnings there is a decrease
