Take a look at this article on eweek.com and you see at the bottom it´s being mentioned G is going to combine pictures with the ads in the future.
So everyone that is as of now are placing images next to their ads will be glad to hear this...maybe? :)

They did some limited testing of this last May, so seeing these images in ads again wouldn't be surprising.

Will be interesting to see if we have any options to play around with such as "disable" ;)

I am sure they will give an option to disable these just like themed seasonal google ads we saw in Christmas

In this case the images are most likely chosen and uploaded by the advertizers. Very good move because placing images really enhances the CTR.

Anything that prompts clicks has got to be advantageous to publishers. (And I need all the advantages I can get...)

Do you guys think images will be set by advertizers or generated automatically? In the first case, advertizers will most likely compete on who makes the flashiest image to draw attention, remember the milliondollarpage? this will not be really cool to blendin a site. For the second case, I am not sure google can put suitable images for all ads, and then they would be breaking their own TOS

It is the job of Advertisers to choose the images. As an Adsense publisher, it won't be any work for you.

I love it:) this is going to be very innovating and succesfull for publishers and G without a doubt.

I am wondering what the next move will be by G or Y...there is always something new that's got to come up.
And it will probably be something we publishers started...just as the images :)
