i noticed that google's content detection is on over drive ... they are really getting on mark ... my sites are showing extremely relevant ads these past few days
I can't say I have had a problem with adsense not showing really relevant ads.. On a bunch of different sites in different niches, I have had very good luck. I think the targeting is too precise sometimes. I would love some extra sway to broaden topics a bit. Right now it seems like adsense and yahoo are on opposite ends of the spectrums.
AdSense content targeting was always on the dot. At least with me. It would sometimes be sort of irrelevant when I check the page efore it has been crawled (like immediately after creating a page), but otherwise, it has been really good. And you say it is getting better... Good. So the days of Google AdSense trying to guess the 'future' content and delivering relevant ads before itself are not far? I think the page should now be showing an ad for "Know your future - astrology services" now, even before I press the "submit reply" button
I saw several days ago, the ads on the right top corner displayed ads about cellphone, but now I'm seeing ads that more relevant. Is it the proof of that content detection improvement?
I agree it has gotten a lot better. On my travel sites I used to get ads about health conditions lol. Now they are spot on and my percentages have increased quite a bit over the last few weeks.
Not in all cases, but they have in mine. I see your point in that unrelated ads may pay more, but I dont get clicks on unrelated ads so I could care less if they pay more. I want clicks, not just impressions.
well ... i noticed it on a few of my sites with 10,000 plus pages. those sites sometimes get labeled with a "theme" where the theme of your total site makes the ads, not always the "page". again, other sites of mine have always been great.
Agree with you. I have noticed that in my sites also. The theme of my first site is health. So whenever I use the AdSense codes in other 'new' sites of mine, I get health related ads first, even when they are totally unrelated to health.
