    One thing i can tell u..

    Ur CTR it must have reduced significantly due to this competition.. Lots of people have opened ur site.. but i doubt if any DPers would have clicked on ads..

    Do let me know if iam RIGHT / WRONG?

    I wish u get a SAFE CTR.. (becoz very good CTR may make u banned from Adsense)

    No it doesn't. There are only 2 ad units on any given page, if it was MFA I would have 3 and an adlink unit. I could add some totally unrelated affiliates ads to spice up the colours a bit but I prefer to have contextual ads so that a visitor may see something they are interested in. Just because the sites layout/design is very simple to use doesn't mean it is MFA, I could complicate the site more if you think that would help visitors?

    No, this little "game" is a bit of pure FUN, obviously.
    You need to get out more.

    Nope it's not (although I would imagine the webmaster traffic from DP has lowered the CTR significantly)

    Obviously I cannot disclose what the sites actual CTR is but I can tell you the winner is BIG PHIL

    FWIW: his guesses ~ahem~ ...professional calculations, were...
    I can't say which estimate was right or wrong or how close he was.. but he was the closest for this month :)

    No...it's marketing ingenuity, actually. I've done many of these types of things for clients that benefitted quite well.
    But why deny it? We're all webmasters here! :D

    My initial reaction was especially due to the fact I was reading something you posted to tie into the contest, it begged me to scroll down to the bottom for a specific reason- and there was a strategically placed ad unit.
    Well, it was put there for us, not just the casual reader.
    For that, a certain degree of distrust did occur from my standpoint.

    Glad to see it worked out for you, regardless.
