Hey I found this on the the FAQ guide and I just wanted a bit of background and what you think of it. Basically if you use these piece of code does it randomly pick an Adsense colour based on these colours. For example Do you guys use this and is it effective. google_color_border = ["628098","628098","000000","000000"]; google_color_link = ["000000","BBB90C","BBB90C","628098"]; google_color_url = ["000000","628098","000000","000000"]; google_color_text = ["628098","628098","000000","000000"]; Great for overcoming ad blindness. Code (markup): Thanks
I've used it before and I saw a modest ctr increase....I used it in a section where registered users returned frequently.....
Yes it does. Login to your AdSense account, and create 3 pallets, once you have created the pallets click on Multiple Pallets then select with the mouse the pallets you created by keeping the CTRL key pressed. Once done, click done heh...and there you go you can see an example here SEO tutorials refresh 2-3 times and you will see color of the ads will change. P.S. seo ranter, you are just too fast dude
I know of the TOS not the TOP....No its not against the TOS.....It can be done within the control panel....look at the DP ads in the top right....look how they change
Done and updated, you can check it out in my two blogs below. Thanks lamtikon11, I don't no what TOP is bit if you can do it within the setup page, it must be ok. Edit: Dam Seo_ranter beat me to it.
Well i mainly used it (used to have it sitewide, now the wide banner can be seen ONLY in category pages) to test which colors perform better, standing or blending..unfortunately the results where not that clear, one because the site doesn't have a HUGE traffic, and two because i received almost equal amount of clicks on the three colors i use.
the best way is to match with your site background and also the web links in ad match with links in your web page
A bit late to your response, but NO it is not against the tos, you can do that directly from your adsense account.
