Adsense Colors, Placement, Quantity & Sizes

Hey all,

Just changed my boy's fan site. I need some help please:

1- The color. The colors that adsense provides as options don't really match the theme. They are close, but not quite. Is there a way to tweak the colors in the adsense ads to blend exactly?

2- Please check out the placement. I had a text link below the header. I vertical tower on the left. A half banner horizontal on the home page. WHat do you think?

3- Quantity. Every page/ post shows a text link at the top and the vertical tower on the left. The home page also includes the half banner at the top. SHould I include more? I don't want it to look spammy.

4- Sizes. How do the sizes of the ads look? I am concerned with the banner on the left being too large/ wrong shape.

The placement is great, but consider adding 336x280 ad slot to individual posts.

 

Thanks! I was thinking about doing that. It wouldn't be too spammy looking, would it? Where should I add it? In the middle of the post, or at the end?




P.S. Any idea what color # I should use for the horizontal header link? It's a funny grey that I just can't match. Any idea folks?

 

In adsense setup you can specify any hex colour you like - your background is 3C3C3C

 

I use 'colorpic' to get the exact colors of my website and enter the code in the adsense settings so that my ads have exact colors of website. its very simple and handy you can also save bunch of colors as a group so that you can use later. http://www.iconico.com/colorpic/
