I have been experimenting with AdSense color schemes and decided creating a voting poll on what colors attract us, could help us in the long run.

Here is the setup. Lets say the ad is text and the background is white, and the text is black. REGARDLESS OF WEBSITE COLOR SCHEME, what link color attracts you most?

blue, green, red, orqnge, purple or other (please specify). Make sure you vote as well. This could help us all!

    For me, purple.

You can't really separate out the color scheme. Depending upon the color scheme, a link may be more attractive in one color than another since part of the attractiveness of a color is how it fits with other colors.

I am disregarding website color scheme because I want to know about the ad itself in this case. Websites could then be re-designed or created around the ad color scheme that gets the most votes. See what I mean?

So white background, black text, what color link? Please vote, thanks.

Ihave had good results with blue also. You are talking about the title link right?

As most of you say, blue works. But if you blend the links with the website template, it will get high CTR.

Which could lead to problems if you have visitors mistakenly clicking on ads and then back-arrowing out immediately when they realize what they did.

I don't know, but green always means success for me. Not just because Dollars are green, but it's just a color that always made success for me, it might be coincidence though but still it's the best Adsense color IMO ;)

It seewms like blue is the winner here. Taking this advice I have changed my ad lim=nks to a standard blue (#0000FF) yesterday. In the one day my CTR went from about 0.60% to 1.50%, which is great considering my links were already a blue color, but making them the default blue seems better. The problem is that the clicks are only averaging $0.10 a click, when they were about $1.30 a click??? I'm sure it has nothing to do with the change, but it's still bothersome. I hope the CTR stays the same or increases as well as the payouts returning to normal.
