Adsense color advice please ?

    Hi all,

    I have a designer handbag website, only getting 50 or so uniques a day as the niche is pretty much controlled by the big boys.

    Anyway my question is.. is my choice of adsense to obvious ? i like the fact it stands out a little more now but is it to much ?

    And while i am here would anyone happen to know / guestimate how much i would earn per effective click ? as the site has not had any earnings as of yet and i would like to know if i should push on with this site.

    PErsonally I think the amount you are doing amke your site look very spammy, but if that the pruspose of the site then great. Orange is a good colour, amazon choose it for their submit buttons after doing extensive version testing.

    Also i have found that placing only the ads in blue and all the other things in black colour[or some other] increases CTR - I mean do not have too many links in the side bar or any other place in blue.Make it black.

    try these..
    - get one 336 * 280 block right below the title (left aligned)
    - place 450 * 60 block at the end of the article
    - blend the background to match your page background
    - blend the links to blue matching your link color.

    I bet you will make more

    for traffic
    - keep adding more content
    - backlinks
