Anyone tried using Cloudflare and notcied a downturn in Adsense earnings? I did! I love Cloudflare , it increased my Site Speed and protected site from hackers etc. However it broke my Geo Targetting script on site and my Hosting company wouldnt install Cloudlflare Apache mod. I tested on a host with this and had the same problem. Ive read around about people having issues with Cloudflare and Adsense - Cloudflare themselves say it isnt a problem - http://cloudflare.tenderapp.com/kb/...estions/does-cloudflare-impact-google-adsense However my earnings started to increase as soon as I came away from it... Just a small note to those considering it... This is interesting, I use Cloudflare but I've been using it since day 1 so have no way of knowing if it affects my earnings as I didn't have any when I found it. Turning it off one 1 of my sites for 24, will report back for anybody interested.
I'm actually on a dedicated server now, not even sure I need it as much as I did. I pinged before changing and got 1.5ms to the US (servers in Germany), after it's 141.5ms to US. You seem to know about server stuff, do you think the 2nd result is acceptable?
Well that much of a difference definitely isnt acceptable... Ye see thats my problem - Cloudflare is great , And even with Adsense out of the way , it really messed with my Geo Targetting.. so have to give it a miss for now..
I avoid CloudFlare like the plague, but not because of Adsense - I've seen far too many reports of people experiencing crawl errors due to Cloudflare. I just don't really see the point in it. Optimise your own site, reduce the number of failure points by avoiding third party services such as CF.
Good point Mate.. Though it does help a lot ( with exceptions obviously.. ) and its free... ( to a point..)
I was using cloudflare as well with one of my sites. it shows crawl errors and dropped the visitors like %30. but i wasn't using google adsense in that time
thanks for feedback 3mints. I loved Cloudflare.. *but* it did affect my adsense earnings directly..Not Good. Maybe those 30% of visitors were hackers that Cloudflare kept away
Companies keep threatening us from hackers. and my site was running for two years with not once get hacked. so why so sudden %30 dropped. I liked Cloudflare as well, but i think it's good for emergencies.
Mine did get hacked more than once before I decided to try Cloudflare. When I stopped Cloudflare , I installed various other plugins to assist the "fight" against hackers..
Hi people I'm new , I found this forum on google becase I was suspecting of CloudFlare was affecting my earnings on clikcbank and adsense. After a couple hour of installing Cloudflare I noticed speed on my site BUT my clickbank account remained with $0 profits for 3 days and I make a couple sales a day,, so that is why I was suspecting a problem since with have to change the DNS and all. I have uninstalled CLoudflare and will report back if it changes anything
Ok Today is December 2014. I used Cloudflare, upgraded to pro, unchecked rocketloader and minify, AND installed mod_cloudflare on my server. I then upgraded to business but luckily the bank denied payment as a few hours later i decided to just cancel. I thought the adsense problem was just a thing of the past, or "it wouldn't happen to me" It seems adsense was NOT what it usually is for me both yesterday and today. Half way though today i redirected my nameservers back to the orginal server. And i'm SAD to turn my back on cloudflare as i really want it to work. Of course i want a fast site with railGun !!!! Thinking of using google pagespeed as an alternative ? Anyone.
