Been monetizing YT for 6 months. all is going well. Decided to earn money from my site. Submitted my site but was rejected. The kicker, Adsense is closed until I fix my site, now my YT lost its monetizing feature. I received an email stating what needs to be fixed. Its translated from other language to English, some of it doesn't make sense. Says I have too many flash and pictures, I have 1 picture. The code for adsense is only on my home page. I am using Weebly basic, could Weebly be sending out the wrong info? The email also stated that my sentences are incomplete, like I am be graded by a school teacher. Could some one look at my site www.gripps.net feedback appreciated.
Ok, from what I understand, you cannot have adsense on a site that has 3rd party content, in this case, 3rd party content extends to youtube vids as this is content owned by google. also you cannot put adsense on a site that does not have a privacy policy page. I suspect you may need to closely read the adsense rules at least twice. I noticed that you have donation button for paypal. please read this as well: http://www.businessinsider.com.au/paypal-regretsy-2011-12
So, my site which supports my YT channel cannot show links to my YT channel? Not sure what that article has to do with my Donation button.
from the site: basically, everyone that has the paypal donate money, gets forced to give back the money. your case might be different, but good luck to you. I know one person locally that was using this for a church, thinking they were able to legally use the paypal donate button, and no, i really thought I would enjoy saying "I told you so" to the guy, but with the amount he lost, it wasnt something to laugh about. yes you can link to your YT channel. But you might want to remove and adsense code from any page that has youtube content embeded in. but still, go through your adsense agreement with a fine tooth comb
Okay. best not to use donate button on my site. Will need to remove the vids on my Homepage and embed them in my own player. What is weird, the email they sent me mention nothing about any of this, then again its been translated so bad , who knows.
If you are asking for why adsense didn't accepted your site then I may have the answer. I reviewed your site and checked upon all the factors that Adsense bother about. So I first off all suggest you to change the template to some adsense friendly one ( Just google it and you will find many or you can PM me for help). Second add some more content on your site. These are the two things adsense looks upon so yes maybe you can try implementing both of these and maybe you will seek success.
