Does anyone of you even receive adsense clicks from DP? Or is it just me that only gets impressions? And do you guys even click adsense in DP or you don't since there is no chance that you click your own adsense and clicking one will just mean that you give revenue to the owner of that ad but you don't get any?

I just get impressions....then again DP doesn't have that much adsense...Just the top right and the small link after the first post.

1 click ... A fair number of views, however, considering how often I post, and what topics I post on.

i used to received several clicks from DP when I post LOTS of topics i.e. the thread starters. However, I since took it off since it's not that profitable :0

Addition: I've been using it on the forum since I joined.

Re: sezerb, I'm not sure why that would make you stop, but I suppose that better for the rest of us ;) The Page eCPM for the one click was mid-range three digits (as in, xxx.xx). Overall, a little less than a buck (total).

I suppose for those people who are on these boards every day, that starts adding up. And of course, the more "high visit" posts you create and/or reply to, the higher your earnings.

DP is unique in that it allows content providers (which is what we are - some better than others) to get some monetary gain from what we do, even if it is pennies ...

I was just thinking, why don't we all do a mass clicking? With the number of DP's members, Thats gonna be alot! :) I don't think that we are violating any rules since there'd be no chance that we'd be clicking our own ad right? :)

Does it hurt your CTR if there's no click from DP?

a massive clicking would be against the TOS and against the moral ... we should click only if we are interested in the ad not to generate clicks for each other ..think about the advirtiser (put yourself in his place)...

Dead-on post. Forums naturally get lower clicks - it's just how they are. I hardly pay attention to the ads, save the different coloured one in the top right corner ...

I take it that profit sharing is not again adsense terms...? Seems like the kind of idea they would black out.
