Adsense clicks question

    Hi guys,

I see there are listed URLs like the one below in my Exit Link Activity section under Statcounter stats which I'm using for tracking one of my sites.

    googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-XXXXXXXXXXXX&output=html&h=60&slotname=5253890327&w=468&lmt=1292924255&host=pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxx&h_ch=00000&ad_type=text&color_bg=FFFFFF&color_border=FFFFFF&..........

Are these URLs actually showing adsense clicks because on the other hand, in my adsense account, I see quite rarely clicks for this site?

They should be adsense clicks, but the only stats which counts is the adsense report. So I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Yes, I suppose adsense has the final word. :)
I was just wondering are these clicks considered invalid for some reason or are they clicks at all.

Nobody can tell you that, but if you see many of them and on adsense you see only a few valid clicks then there is a possibility they are counted as invalid by adsense, or a possibility they are not really happening and counted by statcounter.
My main point was that this is not something you should waste any time on. Instead focus on important things don't let yourself distracted by things over which you have no control at all, that was simply a sugggestion but if others want to give their opinion on what it is or what it isn't and you want to discuss about that, it's up to you. :)

Very likely that these are invalid clicks, discounted by Adsense and therefore not showing in your reports. They actually do a good job with the tracking so I wouldn't worry too much about your statcounter stats.
