    if you are not getting targated ads, then it is the content you need to play with. on page optimization also helps. like tweaking your title tag, adding/editing your meta keywords and description tags and have enough contents with your related keywords in it multiple times.

    when you were getting .4 per click, were you getting targated ads? getting paid low these days is a common trend which lot of AS publishers are experiencing dud to holiday season.

    Use <h3> tags, title tags etc. and place your keywords inside them, also mention them a lot in the content area.

    When i was getting 0.4 i did the same as now. How I use <h3> tags? You mean in content when i write i put <h3>KEYWORD</h3> for each keyword I use in content?

    First make sure either your site is not slow or doesn't have high response time. These factors prevent Adsense-Bot to crawl you site.

    And Bot will not crawl your site properly, then it will not show relevant ads properly.

    In order to let Google know what is your site about, you will have to optimize for search engine by:

    1. Place keywords in title, META, body, headers tag.

    2. Build some links pointing to your site using your specified keywords.

    Finally, see what your Google Webmaster Console tells you:
    Statistics -> What Googlebots sees
