Hi Guys - I have noticed a number of high profile websites that use clickable backgrounds for their AdSense units. In other words, the whole ad unit is clickable rather than just the headline and URL. I have 2 questions for you: 1) Is this supported by AdSense (ie: in compliance with their terms)? 2) How to give your AdSense units clickable backgrounds. Thanks, OnlineMarketr
You mean image backgrounds such as: http://www.nonflashgames.com/img/adsense_sample.PNG Or do they look like the regular text ads? If the former is true, they are allowed. They usually give lower CPC but higher CTR. Basically Google's servers decide which one to put on your site.
Hi guys, thanks for your responses. I mean text links of course where the whole ad unit is clickable (rather than just the headline and URL).
