This is exactly why i would never advertise with google adwords, just because someone clicks an ad does not mean that they will buy something from the site.

It depends on the product you're trying to sell, really.

Very good post, well written and packed full of good advice, it would be nice to see more posts like this rather then "Googles banned me what should I do?" = (Big free tip to those writing such posts: write to Google, not us! We don't work for them!).
I actually have come across a forum that is solely for the purpose of getting people to click on each others ads, the saddest thing of all though is that when I posted on this forum many moons ago about this, I got three PM's from this forum from people wanting the URL as they were interested in joining, even though my post highlighted this was illegal click fraud......The most funny thing of all was the forum was actually running adsense on it, mad or what!
Of note something I learnt today was that as an adsense account owner you should be wary of clicking on lots of other adsense ads as if you click on too many this can be held against you and get you a ban, they do this by tracking the ip addresses if anyone was wondering how they do this (Note to the people who write in here saying they have got banned six times, it's probably because they track your ip address...:)

Google uses multiple checks to see if a click is real. Also, cookies are employed to see if there is a pattern.

I bought a package of free articles PLR, there is no author, the author's name does not appear in the article. I have not much time to spin it :)
