Hello, Chitika is launching a contest for the second year in a row, it's about ad placement where adsense and chitika co-exist in the design. What you have to do is pretty simple, send them an url where you use adsense and chitika on the same page, and they'll decide which one is the best. You can send them the url by adding a comment on their blog post or by sending them an email at specialprojects (@) chitika.com personnally I did both to be sure, here's my sample url so you can get an idea: http://shetoldme.com/Business/Best-Ad-Placement-AdSense-and-Chitika-Together#chitikatest=money Please take note that the contest ends on 18th september 2009, so don't delay for too long... There's only a few days before the end of the contest. So send in your blog comment or an email directly to with your implementation of adsense + chitika. The chitika team will preselect the Top 4 websites on 19th september and then there'll be a public vote to select the 3 winners. They should have announced the TOP 4 pages and asked public to vote for the 3 winners on 19th september, but there has been no change to their blog this week end, so now on monday 21st we're still waiting for a sign, anything. They don't seem to take their publishers seriously. We'll see if they write any excuse in their next blog post or if they'll do as if they didn't miss any deadline.
Don't worry about it, some time after my last post they added a sentence in their contest post: "*UPDATE: This Contest Is Now Closed* Winners to be announced" So don't be all negative about the slowness, it's coming.. one day!
