i am a Bangladeshi publisher. i used to cash adsense cheque from a korean bank sitiauted in bangladesh and they only charged me 12$. but after 1 year the bank denied to cash the adsense cheque giving a reason of central bank [Bangladesh Bank] prohibition. later i tried to cash the cheque from a local non govt bank named "Basic bank limited". they took 40 days to remit the money from CITI N A, newyork through a local branch {CITI NA BANGLADESH} and charged me 75% per cheque. there was two cheque. 139$ and 158$. they gave me 139 - 75 = 64 dllr and 159-75 = 84 dllr. moreover additional 10 $ for DHL cost to send those cheques to CITI NA Bank. finally i got 148$. which is frustrating for me. i asked my bank who charged this amount 75*2=150+10=160 $. they replied it is charged by CITI NA. they couldnt show me any documents as the local CITI NA denied to provide any. which means adsense charged me 75$ for each cheque through their BANK CITI NA. my question is CITI NA Charged this amount actually ? is there any law for their banking that to sent money in Bangladesh charge is 75 $? later, i discussed this matter to some others publisher and they assured me saying "Islami Bank Ltd BD" is nice for adsense cashing, they only charged 7-10 $ for each cheque and DHL curriar charge. then i placed a adsense cheque for experiment if the opinion from other publishers are ok or not. afte 24 days my cheque is cashed and islami bank also charged 75$ and as usual i asked them why? and they said it is charged by CITI NA but couldnt able to gimme any documents saying CITI NA Didnt give them any documents for the charge. my cheque was 288 $. i am totally frustrated. i got 751$ another cheque but i dont know where to cash it. is it true citi na charged 75 usd for every single cheque? or if not why this huge amount has been deducted from my account? what is the actual process? no WU is allowed in BD. in that case what i supposed to do? i am extremely frustrated. please gimme a solution ...
Hello, I have already received two cheque from Google but I can not deposit those to any bank in Bangladesh. I have tried to draw cheque through Brac Bank, Islami Bank, Dutch Bangla and Prime Bank but those have told me that presently they are not working with this google cheque issue. What can I do now ? I am really frustrated. Any body help me which bank can draw my cheque except HSBC and Standard Chatered. I don't have any account with those bank. please help me Or any other method to collect money from Google ?
The cheque issue is solved by at last for Bangladeshi adsense users. Now you can get paid by bank accounts directly deposited by Google. Hurray!
