in past when i asked thisquestion to adsense support team : one time i receive reply its valid for 1 year and 2nd time i receive reply its valid for 6 months.

My advice is withdraw ur money as soon as possible coz if something wrong will happen with adsense a/c then ur all earnings will be hold.

More than three months. I have kept it for more than three months when I was away from home, and it didn't go void, so i assume 6 months.

It is 6 months even if you do get banned. I check is a financial instrument. If they pay you in February then ban you in March, the February check is still a signed promise to pay.

Not really. If they ban they can stop the check and some times they do that too.

That is against the law! Plain and simple...

A check is a contract to pay and if you issue a check for services or goods then stop payment or cancel the check after it has been delivered the recipient has very solid grounds for civil action.

In most states that is called theft by deception and depending on the attitude of the DA in the local where the recipient lives, such action might be prosecuted in criminal court.
