I would first notify the webmaster and if they fail to stop I would contact google with a description of the problem and the URL of the site.
You report it to Google, either by clicking "Ads by Google" or by emailing . Then, you sit back and try not to be frustrated when Google fails to do anything about it.
I know that was a joke but it would suck that some sad ppl only look for sites that are cheating. It will be a f***king sad world. Just notify the webmaster how his/her site is doing against the TOS.
That's what we say that first we hv to inform the webmaster and if he/she/they ignore then only inform to G.
I am sorry but i don't understand why should you inform the webmaster before reporting to google. Not reading the TOS is their fault, and webmaster won't violate TOS if they read it in the first place, i don't see they are innocent.. Bottom line is they break the TOS because they are greedy about click
Hi samskpunk, With good faith we hv to inform first webmaster regarding same and if they ignore again then go to G for this. Its my point of view. Don't know what others do.
i guess if you really hate what they are doing, just report it, google will deal with them then. we're all protecting our own interest here.
there are time when some makes the mistake unknowingly. its gud gesture on our parts if we don't take it personally and fire a mail to let the webmaster know what he/she is doing. I am sure if A-list bloggers can find time to write a mail before reporting then others can too.
Agree with you there deluxdon... The only problem I see is that if the webmaster does not take action ( because they are actually cheating or did not have the time to remove them ) and you report them then they could take their anger out on you somehow. I wonder if it would be worth the hassle???? But I do agree that there are webmasters starting off and they should be given the benefit of the doubt. regards Zoned
exactly, i don't care how much that guy make from adsense, cause it won't affect my earning.. but i don't want adsense to be ruin by invalid click....
I don`t realy care about that, but I do care if one site is cheating and has a better position in Google! Thant won`t happen
I reported more then one english site and it never looks to go down or take the ads away. Then i asked the swedish google that is it ok to put ads on a WAREZ site? They say sure if you can not download anything. Then i wrote back and told them but this site you can. How about it? They never wrote back but the next day the ads was gone. I guess they are all small office and can do stuff quicker then big USA google. I am sure not only person is involved banning sites there.
I see both sides of the "argument" here... Some sites are obviously scamming in a big way and they need to be reported directly to Google, because you know they aren't going to respond to you (or perhaps provide contact information). Other sites may do something minor, by mistake, and it would be really nice to just drop a note letting them know they are violating the TOS just in case they didn't realize it.
