What is the difference between clicks generated from www.xxxxx.com and www.xxxxx.com/index.html?

There are overlapping clicks when I view the adsense channels? What is the difference between the two? Hope the adsense gurus can clarify?

    Thanks

there should not be any difference as they are both the same page. are you talking about URL channel or individual ad channels?

By default index.html is your homepage only..so as far as I know your both url will be same and hence the tracking will be same for both..

In my adsense summary, I have like,

    www.xxxxx.com - 5 clicks
    www.xxxxx.com/index.html - 2 clicks

It doesn't add up because I track all pages and I don't know where the balance 3 clicks are from. If the 3 clicks were from other pages in my site, I will know but in adsense summary, there is no information of clicks from my other pages.

Can I disable under channels for www.xxxxx.com/index.html so that it will track more accurately?
