Adsense Channels is a mystery...

    Hey guys,

I'm confused why adsense never reports their statistics properly. I have a few niche sites. I created a new channel for each site so i can keep track of them. More than a month ago, some sites werent doing well, so i removed them and completely removed all the adsense ads on those sites. Well still to this day, i see a few page impressions under those channels... I completely removed the adsense code for those sites over a month ago. how in the world is adsense still counting page impressions on sites that dont have their code anymore? Also very rarely, i'll notice 1 click under the channel too! it only pays 1 cent and sometimes even 0 cents. I also have an allowed sites list under my account, and the channel for the sites that i removed is not on that list. Its so weird why adsense still counts it every once in a while. I also think these stats are ruining the ctr rate for my overall sites in general...
    Anyone have similar issues?

No, you must be using some adsense ads in one allowed website using that channel..
Channel is not related to any website, you can have more than one website using the same channel...

I'm sure i didnt. I was very careful to keep everything organized. When i create an ad, i would assign only one channel to it. Then i would place that add only on 1 site. I made sure of it. And I recently double checked it, by re copying each adsense code into all my sites.

Perhaps it comes from cached pages, like on the cache of google or other search engines.

Sometime the google catch (or other cache) still has your code in. You better use URL channel in this case.
