Adsense channels best optimization???????

I have been using the adsense channels for my site. I understand what they do. They are very helpful. My question is: If i am creating new sites, and i would like to track how much is being made from each site. Should i make new channels specific to those sites. In the forums I have read not to change my adsense code. So i wanted to know if this would be the smart way of doing it.

Or you can use an adsense monitoring script on your websites and you can exactly see, which website is making more money for you.

 

Yeah, make separate channels for different sites or where you think they are needed. There is no problem at all.

There are few things that you can change, like the colors, the channels.

 

Yeah i usually go for a seperate channel per ad, to keep them nice and seperate and so i can track better.
