Sorry for making dumb questions, but I'm a new user of the Adsense program, and I have no clue what Channels are. Some one please explain :D .

    Thanks

You can blame a lot on being a noob, but there's a limit. Use the search engine before making a new thread to ask a question that you can get answered by just doing a minute's worth of searching. Don't be so lazy.

Its a cool way to know in what AD block people are clicking.
Every AD block in my sites have a channel so i know witch one performs better and witch one performs worse.
And when i want i change something in the worse ones to see if it goes better ;)

I personally use a notation like this [site][format][optional], for example googleleadernews , that means the google site, a leaderboard banner, the news section of the site.

It's a good way to know which site brings cash, which ads are clicked often.. (helps you understand which color template and ad format is more suitable for you site)
