I know it's prob a silly question, but I really don't get what that is. In the Edit options of these forums there's the option for an adsense channel id but I can't find anything in the forum or anywhere to understand exactly what that is.
Edit: Oops sorry, I misread you post, I thought you were asking about channels on AdSense in general . Duh! You can learn all about channel in the AdSense Help Pages
Does anyone else ever have the situation where the "aggregate" report shows more total page impressions than the report broken down by channel does? It almost seems like ads are running on pages that aren't in my channel list, but that's not the case (as far as I know) - I've created a channel for each site my ads run on.
I still have a problem: after creating a channel, the channel id should show in the code, right? well my problem is that it doesn't...
1. https://www.google.com/adsense/code Manage channels Create new channels 2. https://www.google.com/adsense/code under Channel options heading, in dropdown list, select the desired channel when forming the ad you will see the channel id line; for example, google_ad_channel ="????????????"; instantly changed in 'Your AdSense code'
One more question though.... is it the 10 digit mentioned after "google_ad_channel"..that i need to put in here in DP or the "google_ad_client" = "pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX";code916 digits followed by pub-. a promt answer will be much apprecaited. Thanks in advance..
Got the reply... It was here... The google ad channel thing confused me a little....actually.....i guess it NOT what has to be entered. We need to enter the 16 digit followed up by pub.
Just go here: https://www.google.com/adsense/channels -> Adsense for content -> Custom Channels It shows a list of all your custom channels and corresponding ID's.
