    hello,
i have been trying to add a channel id to my adsense publisher id through the options control panel.

the problem is every time i sumbit an id i get an error message

"You did not enter the correct format for the Google AdSense Channel ID field. Please read the field description for the expected format."

the description field doesnt give us a format to use it simply says
"If you choose to enter your AdSense client ID, you can also specify a channel ID as well.

It would be a good idea to have a unique channel ID for this forum (then you can track stats specifically for the forum)."

so i am a bit confused what format i should use and why am i getting an error message.

Each member sets up their on DP channel ID to be used on the forum. You must set up this channel ID by going into your Adsense account and making a channel for DP.

You can create a Channel ID from Google Adsense only, Keep surfing the forum, you might find it.

To create your channel ID, go into your account, click on Adsense Setup, click of channels, click on add new channel, give channel a name, such as DP. The number associated with the channel can be viewed from your channel list. This number is your Google AdSense Channel ID. Your Google AdSense Client ID looks like pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Those from Canada have to omit the ca part of their ID.
