    Hi Dp'ers...

I am going to open a new website for a student union college and I think I have a problem. I think that to most of the clicks are going to be from the same server. There are going to be clicks from students home too, but I am affraid that it will trigger something in google's robots...

Do you think we need to do something before opening the website with the ads ? Do I have a reason to worry?

How much clicks do you think 5000 impressions per month can give? Can we make a minimum-maximum forcast? I know it's hard to tell and that it's very dependable in the ads, but just a general estimation....

Thanks in advnace for any help!

    Guy.

Of course its dependent on the ads, which in turn are determined by the content. But it also depends on the visitors motivations: a person searching for information on xyz is more likely to click on a relevant ad than a person just reading the page casually.

5,000 impressions monthly isn't going to be worth much. Typically that might give you 50 to 100 clickthroughs - worth maybe $15.00 or so, though of course the range will vary depending on the actual ads.

As to the problem of all your traffic coming from the same server, I'm not sure how Google will view that. If the traffic had value, I'd say talk to them about it, but it's probably not enough to get anyone interested at all.

If you check your adsense stats at a server where nobody clicks on the ads, for example at your house then there will be no problems. If you log in your adsense account at college google migth suspect you from cheating which results in a perment ban.
