    6 months old criteria is only for the Asian countries. It is also possible to use Adsense ads in a new blog if you got an approved account.

    The guy has another blog with 14 posts about his adventures around Asia, so I'm guessing he as either been accepted on 6 month criteria or he has been accepted for the content on the other blog.

    As long as you are adsense publisher, you can put the ads on the new website with only one post
