    Hi folks,

I have used the adsense plugin on my travel rants site (link below) can anyone tell me why after days of putting this adsense on my blog that I am still getting public service ads?

I signed up for adsense for another website - does this have an impact, should I infact be signing up for each site I have adsense on?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Darren :)

Do you mean in the root of that site... or on the forums. I can see no adsense in the forums. But I can see them on your blog-like homepage just fine. No charity ads, normal ones.

Also, do you mean that you signed up for another separate account? There's no need to do that, you can house all your stuff under the one account and use channels to track them all.

    Cheers

Actually you have to :) (unless maybe if you have separate corporations)

... and as far as the PSAs.... you either don't have 'good' content, or G doesn't have a good inventory of ads for your content. Also, doesn't hurt to ask, do you allow the Google-Mediapartners bot to crawl your pages?

Well it appears that the ads are starting to come up, but they are more PSAs than actual ads! Can someone clarify, you do or dont need seperate accounts for different websites (same company)?

    Cheers

Google does not want you to create a new account for each website if they are all owned and operated by the same person or company. One account per person/company. Now, if you have multiple websites that are owned by different entities, then yes, you might want to create an account for each business entity (so that the cash flows through to the correct business).

No, you don't - I run all my Adsense sites off the same account using the same publisher ID. You can use channels and I think URL filters (though I've not looked at the latter option) to get your stats split up by site if you want to monitor performance that way. Having one account also means you're more likely to hit the $100 barrier for getting a cheque sent to you as it will aggregate all your sites together.

That's not quite correct windy - you can't have more than one account by default, however you can ask Google to give you permission to have multiple accounts and I imagine if you had good reason and/or were a big customer (thousands of hits per days or whatever) then they'd probably let you. Also, it states in the terms and conditions that multiple accounts held by the same individual/entity aren't allowed, so you could presumably have one account for each site if they were run as separate businesses.
