Adsense Blindiness?

I've heard people talk about banner blindness ( readers who are so accustomed to banners they unconsciously overlook them. But lately (within the past 6 months) I noticed my adsense clicks progressively going down. Anyone having this problem? Any suggestions? Any advice appreciated.

 

Well you might want to try experimenting with different ads. Try colors that blend with your site than try ones that stand out. Maybe switch up where they are located so usually visitors might not look over them. I don't know what type of site you run but I know one helpful thing I did was putting text ads at the of articles. Another trick is to block all the categories that aren't related to your niche.

Have you tried to switch up your ad placements? Your colors?

 

Experiment with your ad colors. If the ad is beside a content then customize the colors according to it. Make the title of the ad same as the link color. That will help you earn more

Try to change your add position and add something different with your add like color etc. to attract your visitors.

 

If you are using blogger then use blogger adsense ad placement. It is partially customisable too
