Adsense better in 2009 than it was this year?

I personally believe things will get worse because I do not see financial crisis ending very soon. Companies will probably pay even less money for advertising than they do now, my guess is that we'll experience few dark years before things improve. What do you think?

Maybe so, but in the meantime internet users will increase, so it's a good time to concentrate on seo. When all the doom and gloom is over adsense will come back stronger.

Well I hope it doesn't go down, but there are a lot of things to look at. There are more people using adsense everyday, there are more people using adwords each day and there are even more people learning how to make money online each day, so depending which side is bigger then the result will be different. For better of for worse.

Yes, I think that the current worldwide economical problem must have had a big impact on Google AdSense too BUT, on the other hand, I guess big companies will still use AdSense and will probably cut their TV and Radio commercials and invest more money into online advertising as it's far more cheaper and has a greater audience. Small advertisers of course are not paying as high as they used to. Just me $.02 :)

I think there is going to be more of a balance personally, as the money becomes harder to find, Google will have to start changing AdSense policies. Probably something along the lines of a page rank requirement or something along those lines. Otherwise they risk more people who will continue to pull their ads away from adsense.

    Overall, earnings will go down.

It's not hard to predict, unless they ban 95% of MFA sites.

I think total adsense advertising may drop but it will be made up by increased traffic if your site is good. And when it will come back it will come back with a bang
