Have you noticed, that some publishers are adding pictures next to their google ads to give more meaning to it? This is proven a very effective way of making the users to go for the ads.


Is it legal?

Yes, but you have to add line to separate your image to adsense. Even google do this way to their new adsense format. You read more about these from:

Anyway lets come to the plugin, Its called "Adsense Beautifier" and it is particularly made for Wordpress. It can add images beside your Adsense codes automatically. No HTML knowledge is required. It also works with the very popular Adsense Delux Plugin.


Why images beside ads?

If you haven’t discovered yet, adding some images beside AdSense ads will increase CTR dramatically.

Please note that AdSense team always ask publishers to place a visible border between the ads and the images, in order to avoid confusion and invalid clicks.

I think its inside the TOS. But its written more like a suggestion so that the invalid clicks are not generated.

I've used this, as can be seen here, but it's pushed my comment form and other things that come after the ad off the side of the central column. Any ideas what I can do fix this?

You should use default position instead left position. Left position should use for wrap inline CSS styles around your AdSense blocks.
