Discussion in 'Guidelines / Compliance' started by moneyblog, Aug 4, 2008.

I was banned without a reason, how can I resume my account?
I received a message from Google: "The disabled account for invalid clicks" (I do not click on ads displayed on my blog) honestly is not my fault. Please help me ,...., THANKS:(

You can try speaking with them personally but I doubt you will be able to get your account back.

I would say you have more chance of flying to the moon than getting your adsense account back !!

What happens to your money if you get banned? Do they pay you what you had left? Or can you just kiss that money goodbye?

I tried unsuccessfully to get mine reactivated. You can appeal and see what happens.

Your best bet is to download an SS-4 form, get a tax ID number, create a "business name", get a P.O. box, and get a new one.

I've heard of some folks getting a new account just by opening a new Blogger account as well.

Most people banned haven't been able to get their account back. You can create a new one but they will eventually find out and ban that one as well.

Try looking for a adsense alternative or sell private ads on your site.

I'm curious to know how much you were making and how many clicks you got.

well thats not without reason then ... you can start an account with another person's details ... your family perhaps but ... do monitor your ctr or avoid click fraud

All you can do is appeal. I only know one person who was able to appeal and get Google to reactivate his account and he had to send them email almost everyday. If you don't want to do that try selling ad space on your site, or register with Yahoo's advertising program.

You can appeal here, but read carefully what Google says:
You have to prove to Google that the invalid clicks were not your (or your employees') doing. That means before you appeal, you have to gather together all the information you can - such as your site logs - and figure out where the invalid clicks were coming from, then explain to Google that you have fixed the problem.

And remember that "invalid clicks" aren't just clicks that you made. From Google Adsense Help:
    https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=16737&topic=8426
So purchased traffic, for example, can result in invalid clicks.

Or say goodbye to adsense and try

    Dear moneyblog,

More and more people are gettnig their account banned these days, I also faced the same situation , My account has more than 500 dollars when it was banned , I was shocked, I appealed, them emailed them faxed them but all in vain,

The best advise is to open a new account in a new name, using different IP and and a different computer, other wise the new account can also be get bannded if they find some connection with the already banned account.

Secondly don't only rely on the Google Adsense Income , try different contectual ad networks as Goggle is becoming strict day by day.

    Regards

The only thing you can do is to appeal to google in writing. But first, before you do that, you must ensure that the reasons which got your account banned in the first place has been rectified.
But as in your case, regarding fraud clicks, appeal would not make any difference at all
