Hello folks! This is my very first post on this super useful forum, and I'd like to say thanks to all the people who posts everyday on the forum! Long story short, 5 years ago I was a web-ass. I submited an application for adsense and got approved, and then I ran adsense on a kinda warez website (to be precise, i asked people to click my ads before they can download a file, like a content locker). And then I got banned 1 or 2 months after that. It was no big deal back in these days but 1 year or 2 after that when I learned how to make real websites I wondered how to monetize my websites, and this is when i realized that no network pay as good as Adsense and when your Adsense account is banned it's banned for good. Since this particular day, I wish i were not that dumb. So the question is; After 5 years, considering that i already appealed once (3 years ago), and that i regret a LOT and will follow ALL the guidelines of the big G, do you think that I have a chance to get back in the program if i appeal now with a website (tech-related) who makes around 13K UV/day ? If you think that i have no chances, just tell me. Thanks for reading me, and i'm sorry, my mother language is obviously not English, i'm French. Cheers
You may want to drop them an email to explain your situation. But Google Adsense is now totally different from the time when it started. When it started there is a lack of publishers, they have to be lenient. But given their dominant place now, it may be a bit difficult to get reinstated as they had grown so huge and basically control a monopoly. Anyway good luck!
Have You: - Changed your ISP? - Changed your Address? - Changed your Name? You could do one of three things... The above, start a company and apply through that or try (Be prepared for it to fail miserably- I have no idea how reliable services like that are) http://www.adsenseg.com/
Thank you both! @wisdomtool: I'll try to make an update if I got my account back or not, thanks for the luck! @sambling: I didn't changed my name unfortunatly , I changed my address & ISP since, but i tried to login my banned account from the new IP (is that make a difference?). I was wondering about starting a company since i think that i would make good money with AdSense, but even company accounts needs a Payee name right ? I don't know if I will get banned if a ask for an account with a company and my (banned) name (Correct me if i'm wrong), i think services like adsenseG are scam, or if it's not unfortunalty it is sure that the account will not last for long.
I'm pretty sure if you're under a company you're fine to register with Adsense again- if you're wanting to start again, this is your best bet.... Here you go: http://groups.google.com/a/googlepr...account-anymore-disabled-accounts/3fJ5SmSM4ng
Try affiliate marketing instead of struggling to get the Adsense approval for years. Sometimes you can earn even more than from Adsense.
Absolutely agree. The earnings from adsense is miniscule compared to earnings from a proper online business.
You can always try if you've moved address and it's been a long time.. Try it with a new gmail account, if they accept you, then the next steps are pin and receiving your first payment. Of course do not use adsense on any old stuff that is related to your previous attempts.. If you get past the first payment stage then you're somewhat safe since I believe that when the toughest checkings are made, not at registration time.
Hello everyone, thanks for the interest in my thread! @sambling: I will definetly dig into that way a lot, it seems that there is a chance, i still don't know if i should register my name (banned) as a Payee name (since i guess they require a person name on business reg) @dumindushalika: I am not struggling for years, it's just that i'm waking up now, i know affiliate marketing can pay well but, can we really find a product with nice a payout&conversion on any niche we are ? @bimmer: Do you think that affiliate marketing is better too ? What should I do when I don't find any product to sell ? I would be interested if there any other decent ways to monetize different kind of traffic from different projects without being dependant of AdSense @JamesColin: Yes i think you are right, I'll try to register a business account and see what happens after first payment. Do you think registering as a businnes with my name as a Payee name could work ? Thanks!
Do you think it's a better idea to try that first ? Google is kinda good at retrieving information, will it not make my situation even worse if i get banned again ?
not worse i think plus its not in their interest to look too deep and be so strict especially for french publishers, they'll have time to analyse your clicks before payment and if it looks fine, oh well..
the best recommendations for Google Adsense account is to apply for a new account but using the real name and information of someone your staff in the office, or someone in your relatives who you do trust . you will get a new address and that's all . hope it work
James, do you mean before you receive your first payment, but after you've been approved? I'm a little bit paranoid as I've just started running ads about 12-13 days ago after having registered and been approved a year or two ago. Earnings show good potential. Should I be scrambling to tie up loose ends like a privacy policy or is the initial scrutiny over for me? Thank you!
Apparently if you get banned from Google for such reasons as you have it unfortunately means you have got banned for good. The only way to get back on track with them if you make sure you actually change all the details(and IP. address too...). But if your new details have any connection with your old ones(for example your new email address connected to the old one in any way....) they will ban you again. You must make sure your new details has absolutely nothing to do with the old ones. The fact you have a new website would be a good start but I assume you have your same details with it. If they ban someone's blog or website for other reason such as not having enough content(or not at all) or the blog pages giving "404" errors, it is possible to get the adsense back but it will take about 3-6months to get it back. They are very strict because of the monopoly the have.
