Got this message when I tried to update my Adsense account a bit ago with a PIN that I THOUGHT I knew (and obviously didn't): "Because we could not verify your physical address, ad serving and account access have been suspended. If you believe you have reached this page in error, please email us at ." And sure enough, now I can't access my account. What can I do about this??
Read your own post for the answer.... And ask for a new one if your current one might get you suspended! Suspended and banned are two big different things. Remember geting suspended in school for a few days...or did you get banned for the rest of da year!
Thanks for the advice, Nin. You da King. Anyhoo, it's been resolved now with this letter from Google: "Thanks for your email. Please note that all AdSense publishers are given 3 attempts to enter their PIN. Because you did not enter your PIN correctly within 3 attempts, we were unable to verify your address and your AdSense account was automatically disabled. I have now reactivated your account so that you will continue to be able to show ads and accrue earnings. However, your account is still on hold, which is indicated by the 'Please enter your PIN' message on the 'Payment history' page of your account. Going forward, when you receive your PIN in the mail, click the 'Please enter your PIN' link on your Payment History page to enter your PIN." But the note I want to add here is that I DIDN'T try 3 times...at least, not in succession. I may have tried before (like months ago), but I don't even remember that. Something for all to consider. It took about a day to get my ads back online again, so I'm out a day's traffic/clicks. One more for the record at DP.
Good to hear that you got your account banned. This is the first time I've heard about this rule also. Thanks for the heads up
Send an email, since that's what they asked you to do. Why come here and ask us at DP? You think one of us can hack into AdSense for you and get you your account back?
The post was to inform, not to whine. After doing a extensive search on both Google and Dogpile, I couldn't find any instance of this ever happening to anyone. So, I shared it, and we ALL learned something. "And knowing is half the battle..." Sorry, couldn't resist YIAM: Yes, I did get my PIN about a week ago, but hadn't thought about it. It seems strange that in this world of hi-tech Google resorts to snail-mail to verify. Oh well, it's their ball.
This just happened to me. Now I don't have any ads showing and am not making any revenue.. How long did it take them to get this corrected for you?
I think you entered your pin number wrong, contact them maybe they can send you a new pin and unblock your account.
