Adsense banned - Can another Adsense publisher run ads on my site?

My site was banned by adsense. This is by no means our sole revenue stream, but it was material. We have a fair number of people involved in the site and unfortunately one bad apple who comitted click fraud killed Adsense for us. Anyway, don't want to do anything sneeky. On Google Adsense help forum saw posts that otrher publishers in good standing can sometimes post ads on a banned site. I know it's pretty much impossible to get Adsense back if banned for click fraud, but what about another publisher on site. Sounds a bit strange to me that this would be permitted. Anyone know definitively?

I suggest you to install something like statcounter and check the IP addresses which have strange behavior and ban them from your site, before you think about add another publisher's Adsense code. Monitor your site's visitors' behavior daily. However, I don't know exactly that it is possible or not to add another one's code to a banned site.
