AdSense ban is for life?

Discussion in 'Guidelines / Compliance' started by Domenico, Dec 15, 2005.

    Hi,

I'm wondering if any of you know if a ban from using adsens on one site is for life? And if the ban is only for that one site or personal and you aren't allowed to use AdSense again for the rest of your life on any site?

The reason I ask this here is because Google isn't answering any question or whatsoever at all. All you get is a standard reply and that's it. In the long run I think this will be their downfall in the long run but that is another discussion I suppose. Nobody can't be this big and that ignorant for a long time. "it's a ban because we say so and that's final, you are a fraud and we don't care about proof and justice!".

That's a good question! I have no idea - I'm new to Adsense, but from what I read it sounds like Google does answer questions. They did answer one question I had a few weeks ago, but it may take a few days...

    Hope this helps!

Yes, you may only apply again is you are using a legal entity, such as a business you have formed. Must be registered with a EIN, like SSN for a company.

Once anyone is banned from adsense, all accounts associated with that account will also be banned. I mean, if two people from a family have adsense, they will no more have it... Or if a person is banned, he nor any of this family members will be able to take part in adsense...

They believe in this.. " A thief is always a thief "

@ServerUnion, is it just me or is this just plain stupid? Even murders don't get life.

@getbangalored, how paranoia can you get? I suppose you have had this fine experience with them?

Anyways, what I see on many SEO forums is that the people who are still earning loads of cash with AdSense totally agree with Google and say that everyone that is experiencing the same is lying and talking bullshit. Till they get the same email one day, cash flow drops to zero and don't get any sane response from Google.

So the personal account is gone for good and you can only enter the AdSense program again with a business account? But are the personal name, site and bank account still being blacklisted? Pfff, I was an early Google adopter (first week!) and told everybody the years after that how great the search engine was. I guess I was playing the Devils Advocate for a while. ;)

Google, the advertisers, nor publishers really want anyone involved that has used ways against the TOS to gain revenue. There are to many frauds out there to try and figure out who should or should not be in the program.

As far as for the business account, I said they will accept the account itself, not the old site most likely. I have heard of exceptions to this.

The bad news is that it is up to Google to decide who is in the program, the good news is that there are more publisher programs than Google.

Find another program, read the TOS BEFORE you start and follow it.

    Good luck...

I thought Google's reply is always very fast... which amazes me one day considering the huge amount of emails they surely receive everyday and every hour. I had my email replied within a day before... ;)

Ok, I got you but why is it that everyone who hears and reads about these stories think Google is the saint and the ones who are banned are frauds and guilty on all charges? In my case I can honestly say that no TOS was violated by me the owner or anyone else as far as I know. To find out what went wrong I seriously asked for proof so things can be checked but they don't even go that far. You only get the standard answer and are marked as a fraud. Sorry, but in my mind these kind of confictions (if you can call it that) are only 'normal' for a Chinese government and some other small countries and regimes if you know what I mean. If I were really guilty do you really think that I kept on whining about this? I really can't understand why everybody besides the ones that are being threated this way by Google are keep on praising Google as a ubercompany who can do nothing wrong at all. It must be the money that it still delivers and the 'status aparte' Google still has I guess.

Let me put it this way besides the money that I lost. You, a daily user from this forum with hundreds of hours put in this forum with your knowledge and stuff comes back tomorrow just to find out you are banned from it. You think WTF and mails the owner. The only response you get is a standard reply saying you are banned and that's it. Whatever you do it's the only thing you get and when telling this story to others the only thing they say is that you deserved it. Yeah, life goes on but I can tell you this doesn't feel right at all.

I'm sorry about my rant and it wasn't supposed to be this way since I only wanted to ask if a ban is for life but please bear in mind that the stories that you read about this subject aren't all the same and that there is many more to it then you think or want to know. Don't think it can happen to you too is the last thing I want to say about it.

btw. sorry for my English but it's not my native language if you hadn't guessed it allready. Maybe that's why the email answering is taking that long. I send them mail in English and get it back in Dutch. Don't bother and reply me in English. ;)

interesting question. I wonder why you are asking? Fairly recently you made a post about "buying adsense clicks" - i reckong you got banned for this - which members of this board advised you might. You're an idiot.

You are mistaken me with somebody else but my guess is that you are one of those people who 'reckon' everyone's an idiot but yourself. You deserve to be recognized!

Very rarely do you see someone who has posted on a forum for a long time, built up trust and had adsense for a long time getting banned.
More often than not it seems to be people with new accounts and the true story comes out at some point.

Google have always replied to any emails I have sent them - though I rarely have need to send them anything anyway.

However you did make this post:

Wouldn't surprise me if you didn't have two digi accounts though.

Apology accepted and the point you are making does make some sense but is about something else. Defending myself is useless because I'm allready convicted before I start.

My post wasn't about getting my account reinstated but discussing some vague Google policies. I must have known that posting against Google on a forum with lots of Google fanboys turns out into nothing. Hail Google!

The ban is for life. It is possible to get reinstated if circustances and evidence dictate it.

However, I have never heard anyone indicate there is any limit of the ban from google.

Instead of labeling people who have managed to not get kicked out of google as fanboys, perhaps you can realize you messed up and learn a lesson to be more careful and responsible in the future.

Your site, your responsibility. Think of yourself as a security guard. If someone steals from your store, YOU are responsible, even if you didn't see who did it.

Do you understand this? The issue is not if you caused the problem, its that there was a problem.

There are other advertising networks to use, save some face and move on to them. Keep this situation in mind with you next venture though.

Post the site url you were running adsense on and someone will be able to point out where you went wrong.

adsenses way of earning can tempt many people to try to cheat its system, adsense belongs to gogle not the people, gogle wants to earn from it and protect its advertisers, if it ws so easy then everyone would make adsense accounts and try to cheat to earn from it, so there is no other way but to obey google about adsense, after being banned and bringing up excuses and such, imagine if you could do that multiple times people would try to do it and hw much money and efforts would google lose from dealing with those people.
