    It isn't that high. The author that wrote that article got it wrong. Go read the financial statements. Here is page 9 & 10 of Sept 30, 2005 Google Quarterly Report. Basically... the author got it completely wrong.

    ugh.. Ill start a new thread to address the blatant mistake in declaring google's revenue share being that high.

    The only thing I worry about is the thousands of NY Times readers who read that and have either of th efollowing thoughts:

    1. I am going to spam that forum and make thousands of dollars on the ads from my posts.

    2. This adsense thing sounds great. I'm going to try it.

    which dilutes the market for us. Obviously the internet is a large place, but competition is competition.

    Either way - great bit of promo material for Digitalpoint, Shawn!
