I have a content site and i am thinking of using adsense arbitrage. Do you think it is a good idea? Does this method still works?
This is what Google says about using Adwords for Adsense arbitrage: https://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=66238 Unless you can craft your landing page so that it gets a good quality score you will be paying more for Adwords than you earn from Adsense clicks.
It's against the TOS, but you can still do it, however you run the risk of getting caught. Plus your quality score will most likely be crap if your targeting keywords that are unrelated so it will cost prohibitive. I'de suggest using another ad network to push ads to your site, like sending yahoo traffic to your adsense pages.
If you do it, it will be great risk. Most probably your adsense as well as adwords account will be blocked.
I agree with everyone here. You have the risk of loosing money . But still its really an interesting thing. What you can do is , just add up some content frequently and subscribe via email features in your content website. This may get you repeated visitors. You can check for misspelled keywords with good number of past searches and bid on those keywords. All the best to make good money. Note: Handle with care.
Use MSN or Yahoo PPC to send traffic to your Adsense sites. It is still arbitrage and I doubt Google will mind. stephen
you must know how to manage your adwords and adsense clicks very carefully, if you target a high paying keyword, then you must know what is the cost per click and do your research.
Arbitrage no longer works on Adwords - Google have hit most with low Quality Scores so they can't advertise: new ads ot arbitrage sites can totally forget about it as they're reviewing everything
I wouldn't recommend this type of approach. You'll probably end up getting your Adwords account banned and it's unlikely to make you any money anyway. Steer clear.
