Hi, I just wanna clear up the myth that your site needs to be 6 months old, have PR + traffic to get approved by AdSense. People were saying this to me awhile ago and got me a bit worried because I want my site to generate money ASAP. I got my domain 1 month ago. Created my website for 3 weeks and went public this Monday. I applied for AdSense 2 days ago and my site got approved. So it's only a myth that your site needs to be at least 6 months old and have traffic or pagerank. My site is ranked 0 right now and have almost no traffic. I don't know how I did it. But I believe it's because my site "looks" to have high quality. I'm a graphic designer so I can make it look pretty professional. Also, I put up a bunch of AdBrite ads when I applied for AdSense. maybe they thought "oh, if we don't accept this guy .. AdBrite's gonna get all the money!" ... well, that's just a thought =P Anyways, here's my site if you wanna check it out: http://katyperryspecial.com
yes, now I know that. but earlier I asked people and many say that my site needs to be at least 6 months old and have traffic already to get approved. so I just want to debunk this myth for people. =3
As long as you don't break the TOS they will approve anyone. The more people they approve the more money they make.
Nice site. Google approves quality website immediately. The website should have unique content and you are approved easily.
Nice, one step closer to making an online fortune. I also have a similar story. As long as your site is decent you should get accepted on the first review process. Just make sure you don't violate their TOS
Adsense approves all sites which agree to their TOS... so no big deal... You dont need traffic to be approved by google
I have seen the 6 month rule used by Adsense on sites that are not a top level domain name. Its nice to see you got approved in a couple of days which helps prove the theory that a domain will get approved sooner. A lot of people are waiting over a month. Have you got an Adsense privacy policy (If you have not you are breaking TOS), It pays to get as much original content as possible. Good Luck Acorn
