Hi, My friend wants an Adsense account. And I was helping him with it. I just want few things to be clarified.. Is .in domain which > 6 months old fine ? The domain was actually used for a warez site. But now terminated the whole site and setup a proxy onto it.. So is it ok ?? Regards
In addition to the earlier reply, google also would give more preference to self hosted domains, rather than the free ones.

6 months is not required i guess. May be it might be based on location see this thread ( http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1264419 ) the site was just 1 week old. Even one of my friend is trying to get adsense approval but constantly failing. I also hear that most of applications from INDIA is being declained...
If this is really the case, it is high time a law suit is filed against it for unfair discrimination! As regards OP's question, I think they are categorical in stating that a website has to be six months old, rather than just a domain name... Regards, RightMan
Google don't like Indian people. like if you have more click from Indian region the they band for invalid click activity. i don't know why but this is a kind of dictatorship. now ya i hard that if a domain is not 6 months old then Google don't approve an account it's domain not site.
LoL He got approved !!!! First the application got rejected within 2 days cos there was no privacy policy, disclaimer and so on.. Resubmitted the next day with everything in place ! And in the next 2 days he got a mail with the message that he has been Approved.. I told him he is a lucky sob lol
