I put in an application for a new site recently and its taken over two weeks so far and it still says the application is under review...

    Is this normal?

I had an account approved in under 24hours.

I suspect you need to check your junk-mail box for the review letter. If nothing, fire off an email to them.

    Good luck.

Appears some thing wrong, as in all cases i know, adsense replied in 2 days. was this site title, publisher etc ever banned from adsense or is content substantially the same as from site banned form adsense?

Yeah, mine took about 2 days also. If they took 2 weeks, maybe they are reluctant to approve the account because the website is on borderline, so-to-speak.

Your approval email might have been sent to your junk folder...email them again or search your junk folder for the email
